WAIGC - Italian Golf Challenge Cup (IGCC)
The Italian Golf Challenge Cup is proudly sponsored by 24k Wealth.
Each year in October, 28 members are selected to travel interstate to represent the WAIGC in the annual Italian Golf Challenge Cup (previously the Festival City Challenge Cup). This is a national competition involving all Italian golf clubs from around Australia.
Since joining the competition in 2016, the WAIGC has performed remarkably well thanks to the skill and determination of the members that have participated in past years.
WAIGC have won the Cup in 2019 in Perth, the first time the cup was hosted in Western Australia. In 2020 and 2021 the competitions were cancelled due to COVID. Then in 2022 in Adelaide, and 2023 in Melbourne WAIGC were the victors once again.
This year the IGCC will be held in Sydney from 12 to 14 October 2024.

Golf Courses
- Sunday 13th October – Twin Creeks Golf Club.
Tee-off time is 12.00 pm. Lunch pack provided. - Monday 14th October – Concord Golf Club
Tee-off time is 10.30 am. Lunch pack provided. - Note the use of MiScore is compulsory for all players.
Social events
- Saturday afternoon. Captains and Presidents meeting in Shangri La Horizon Club at 3.00 pm
- Saturday evening: Welcome to friends and guests at Café Mix Function Room. A buffet dinner
will be served from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. - Sunday Ladies event: High Tea at ‘Altitude Restaurant Level 36. From 12 noon until 3 pm
- Sunday evening is free.
- Monday evening. The presentation Gala dinner will be at the Shangri La Hotel Grand
Ballroom at 6.30 pm, and the sit-down dinner will be at 7:00 pm. Entertainment includes a
floor show.
