Host an event at The wa Italian club
We are proud to be one of WA’s most respected function venues. We have various spaces that can be hired out for special events, including birthday parties, weddings, religious celebrations and corporate functions. We can accommodate both sit-down-meals and cocktail functions, depending on the nature of your event. Our catering staff and chefs will liaise with you to create a menu and work out the finer details of your event to ensure that it is a memorable and stress-free experience.
Please note all seated functions with 10+ people require a set menu.
Our newly renovated Cocktail Lounge has a private bar and is ideal for an intimate setting accomodating approximately 50 people. Currently the home of the Football Hall of Fame WA.
Sits 80 | Standing 200
The Club Bar is a multi-faceted space that is ideal for larger functions. Depending on the size of your group, you can choose to hire the entire space, which can accommodate approximately 200 people standing or 80 people for a seated function, or choose to hire select private areas within the Club Bar.
Sits 50 | Standing 60
Our Private Room can accommodate up to 60 people for a cocktail style function, perfect for small to medium sized groups. The Private Room has an exclusive bar and can accommodate up to 50 people for a sit-down meal.
Sits 45 | Standing 55
The Sports Room is a semi-private space accessible from the Club Bar that can be used for both standing and seated functions.

The 1934 Function Centre features a Grand Ballroom perfect for formal banquets (including weddings and balls), large cocktail receptions and conferences. The Ballroom has a large stage, an adjoining cocktail lounge ideal for pre-dinner drinks, and an elegant mezzanine floor with an exclusive bar. It can accommodate approximately 350 people for a seated function.
