WA Italian Golf Club

The WA Italian Golf Club (WAIGC), with more than 150 members and growing, is an affiliated member of Golf WA and a sanctioned GolfLink member. WAIGC through GolfLink provides members access to a formal Australian golf handicap system used by over 400,000 golfers across more than 1200 Australian golf clubs.

The inaugural WAIGC season commenced in January 2016 with the aim of promoting goodwill and enjoyment amongst all members, not only those of Italian origins but of all nationalities, and to enable members to improve their golf and knowledge of the game in a professional and fun golf club.

The WAIGC is now in its eighth year of operation and aims to have at least one competition game monthly from January to December each year, an end of year Presentation Dinner, plus a Charity Golf Day to help raise funds for a chosen charity. In addition each year in October up to 28 players are selected to take part in the annual “ITALIAN GOLF CHALLENGE CUP” and represent the WAIGC at this prestigious national event. In 2019 the WAIGC had the honour of hosting the event in Perth, this occurs in turn for each state every 5 years, with the event being held in Sydney in 2024. Further in 2023 the WAIGC commenced its first International Golf Tour, an event that now takes place bi-annually.

The WAIGC membership comprises a diverse group of professional, semi-professional and retired male and female golf enthusiasts who are enabled to network and socialise on all levels. The group is also able to benefit from the strong friendships and comeradery that has been developed over the years with members directly benefiting in a number of social and business related ways.

Sponsorship benefits

The WAIGC offers interested businesses and individuals an opportunity to become more involved with our golf club through becoming a sponsor. The 2024 Sponsorship Opportunities are designed to provide all sponsors access to a wide membership base and a varying range of sponsorship benefits.

It is important to note that the WAIGC is a not for profit club and part of our corporate and social responsibility program requires we actively engage with the community associations and give back to the community through activities like our annual WA Italian Golf Club – Charity Golf Day. Your sponsorship assists us to raise as much as we can for these worthwhile charities.

2025 WAIGC Sponsorship Packages
$3,000 (+GST)

There are eleven Golf Sponsorship Packages available throughout the year corresponding with the annual perpetual trophy calendar that each include the following:

1. One annual social membership to Western Australian Italian Club (WAIC) – valued at $88
2. One annual membership to the Western Australian Italian Golf Club (WAIGC) – valued at $230
3. Sponsors entitlement to add one additional member to their sponsorship for an extra $300 (Please note this in the Total Payable – if you choose to take up this option).
4. One complimentary Drummond Golf Club membership – valued at $15
5. One game day sponsorship for a game in the WAIGC 2024 annual Perpetual Trophy season.
6. A complimentary group of four players (including the sponsor) during the allocated game day sponsorship – valued at $340
7. Sponsor signage displayed on game day – Banner to be supplied by sponsor.
8. Display of sponsorship logo’s at WAIGC sanctioned golf games.
9. Display of sponsorship logo’s on the WAIGC website.
10. Display of sponsorship logo’s on the WAIGC MiClub site and all eNews.
11. Display of sponsorship logo’s in footer of official WAIGC emails.
12. Two (2) tickets WAIGC Perpetual Trophy Presentation Dinner at WA Italian Club.
13. Inclusion of Sponsorship logo on WAIGC banner.
14. Two (2) complimentary after game Dinners to the value of $130 at Ristorante 1934 or any other after game function (excluding Lake Karrinyup Country Club)

2025 WAIGC Charity Day Sponsorship Package
$4,000 (+GST)

There is one Sponsorship Package for the annual Charity Golf Day held at Lake Karrinyup Country Club (LKCC) including the following:

1. Two annual social membership to Western Australian Italian Club (WAIC) – valued at $176
2. Two annual membership to the Western Australian Italian Golf Club (WAIGC) – valued at $460
3. One complimentary Drummond Golf Club memberships – valued at $15
4. Game day sponsorship for the Charity game at LKCC Perpetual Trophy season
5. A complimentary group of four players (including the sponsor) at the charity game day at LKCC – valued at $400
6. Four (4) complimentary after game dinners at Lake Karrinyup Country Club – valued at $300
7. Sponsor signage displayed on game day – Banner to be supplied by sponsor.
8. Display of sponsorship logo’s at WAIGC sanctioned golf games.
9. Display of sponsorship logo’s on the WAIGC website.
10. Display of sponsorship logo’s on the WAIGC MiClub site and all eNews.
11. Display of sponsorship logo’s in footer of official WAIGC emails.
12. Two (2) tickets WAIGC Perpetual Trophy Presentation Dinner at WA Italian Club or any other after game function.
13. Inclusion of Sponsorship logo on WAIGC banner

Sponsorship Terms and Conditions

1. Sponsorship is offered on an annual basis and applies to the period from 1st January to 31st December of the applicable sponsorship year.
2. The WAIGC reserves the final right to accept or refuse any sponsorship applications it receives.
3. Sponsorship categories are offered on a first come first serve basis.
4. Sponsorship does not commence until the sponsorship payment amount has been received by the WA Italian Golf Club.
5. Two (2) Term Payments are available in approved circumstances as follows:
           5.1    Payment 1 – 50% +GST due on or before 1 March
           5.2    Payment 2 – 50% + GST due on or before 1 June
           5.3    Please note – If you choose to pay by the payment terms, sponsorship will be automatically discontinued if payments are not received in accordance with the above due dates.
6. Sponsors agree to abide by the Constitution and Regulations of the WAIGC.
